NOISE: It was a fighter jet

There have been a couple of articles in The Press concerning the recent loud noise heard in the area on Wednesday. I live on Fourth Street in Dalton Gardens and can definitely say it was a fighter jet. I heard it coming and by the time I got outside it was pulling up heading west. It practically buzzed my house. All I could see was the tail end. It was a single engine jet, my best guess an F-16 Fighting Falcon. It continued due west, then about a minute later I saw two jets far off to the south heading east. Whether the one that buzzed me was one of those two I can’t say. Maybe there were three jets in the area. Probably some fighter jock violated some flight rules, but it was a thrill to see it pulling away. It’s good to know those guys are up there.
