FIRES: Put space to better use

| August 12, 2012 9:00 PM

Through space to Mars! Very good.

The problem with all these brains jumping up and down at NASA. They should figure out with all the space stuff looking down on our planet in orbit. They can see your yard and mine, but you think they can spot a forest or grass fire before it wipes out millions of acres of land and many homes and businesses and farm land.

Also as many airlines that fly over the world, they could report small fires before they get out of control. It would save millions on forests. And famine can’t be stopped, but fires can! Drought can’t be stopped either. Lookout stations used to work. Put more planes in the air.
