Jones lifts Volcanoes past Tribe in 10

KEIZER, Ore. - Ryan Jones singled to score Dashenko Ricardo with two outs in the 10th inning as the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (8-8) beat the Spokane Indians 7-6 in Northwest League play in front of 2,257 at Volcanoes Stadium on Thursday night.

After falling behind 6-0 through seven innings, Spokane (7-9) mounted a rally in the eighth inning as Cam Schiller singled to score Christopher Garia, Ryan Rua hit a grand slam and Barrett Serrato singled to score Preston Beck to tie the game at 6 with nobody out.

The teams conclude their five-game series tonight at 6:30.
