OFFENDERS: Why stigma deserved

After reading JoAnn Lokken’s psycho-babble and God-speak about forgiveness, I would ask who in her sphere of influence has been a child molester. The stigma of sex offender should last the lifetime of the low-life involved. Tin cans should be tied to their tails and the initials CM (child molester) tattooed on their foreheads. JoAnn has it right when she states that there is no cure for pedophiles. JoAnn fails to mention the ruined lives of the victims throughout our country. All one has to do is pick up a newspaper or watch the national news to find statistics to illustrate any point of view. In conclusion I would challenge JoAnn to research and put forth a column about victims of the numerous sex offenders within our state.
