MEDIA: Focus on real issues

| August 8, 2012 9:15 PM

Why is it that we have all these distractions in the media?

The whole Chic fil A, the gay marriage, the abortion problem, the do you believe in God, the tax returns of Romney, Obama saying to business you didn’t do that, the list goes on and on about things that are not even a problem to the majority of people. Why does the media not talk more about the big issues, like the LIBOR scandal, the house passing the audit of the fed bill overwhelmingly, the Fast and Furious scandal, the shooting and killing of innocent people by our own government, the fact that more people die by legal drugs than illegal drugs, the fact our own military men kill themselves more than the enemies kill them, how many Americans die from terrorists compared to being killed by furniture is about the same per year at 17, and so many more problems that are real problems, that we do not talk much about.

Republicans, why do you fear gays so much? Democrats, why do you fear guns so much? Just stop and think for a few, when was the last time any gay assaulted, raped or killed a straight?

When was the last time a pot smoker assaulted, raped or killed anyone? I do not know if gays or potheads are dangerous, but I do know government officials killed more citizens than citizens killed government officials. So who is the most dangerous, your neighbors or the government?
