HONESTY: Rears its head again

| August 8, 2012 9:15 PM

Thank you! And thank you!

Some very kind and very honest people have been so helpful to me! Last week I must have left my small purse in my shopping cart at Super 1 Foods on Seltice in Post Falls. It contained my credit cards and a generous amount of cash. I don’t know who you are because you gave it to a clerk without giving your name. I am deeply indebted to you! Thank you so much!

My second thank you is long overdue. During the Christmas season my husband gave me a $100 bill as I went into Walgreens on Seltice in Post Falls. I carelessly put it in my coat pocket and proceeded to look for what I wanted. I paid from my own purse and realized when I got home that the $100 bill had fallen out of my pocket. I returned to Walgreens feeling very stupid as I explained this to the manager. Who would believe that? With no proof yet? And who would find it with no identification and return it? Well, I don’t know who is the answer to that (again). But some Christmas angel had turned it in to the clerk at Walgreens.

What wonderful people there are in Post Falls! And throughout the world! Let’s focus on the fact that in spite of many negative things occurring there is much good happening that goes unnoticed!

Again, my thanks and best wishes to my kind rescuers.
