Post Falls majors fall at regionals

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Quin Bennett had a RBI double and Nate Buer had three singles, but the Post Falls Majors fell to Bainbridge Island (Wash.), which went on to a 11-5 win at the Northwest Regional Little League tournament at Al Houghton Stadium.

With the win, Mercer Island moves to 3-0 and Idaho is 2-1 in pool play. Idaho faces Wyoming on Wednesday at 9 a.m., to finish up pool play.

The semifinals begin Thursday and will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
