Magdalene S. (Sweetie) Frazey, 86

Magdalene S. (Sweetie) Frazey, 86, of Rathdrum, joined her daughter Linda in heaven on July 31, 2012. She passed peacefully with her family by her side at the Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. She was born November 20, 1925 in Dickinson N.D. to Frank Wolfe of Russia and Annie Follmer of Germany. She married her sweetheart Harlan Frazey on December 7, 1946. They lived in Post Falls for many years before moving to Rathdrum.

She retired from the United States Forest Service as a Biological Aid in 1989 after almost 20 years of service. She enjoyed camping, gardening, playing cards, spending time with her family and shopping with her daughter and granddaughters. She had a heart of gold and was the loving bond and inspiration that held the family together.

She is survived by her husband Harlan Frazey, brother Ed Wolfe and wife Helen, brother Ralph Wolfe and wife Dorothy, sister Leona Evans all of Yakima; granddaughters Lorie Moore and husband Jim of Seattle, Kim Sawyer and husband Dennis of Rathdrum; son-in-law Lawrence Singer of Rathdrum; great-grandchildren Jeremiah and Jessica Dehnert and, Kendra Moore; great-great grandson Hank Dehnert, son of Jeremiah and Melissa Dehnert.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday Aug. 11 at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.
