John Thomas “Jack” Lester, 91

John Thomas “Jack” Lester, 91, was born May 29, 1921 to William B. and Henrietta E. Lester in Kila, Mont. Jack was a WWII veteran and served in the 14th Armored Division in Europe from 1944 -1946. He worked in the heating and air conditioning industry until he retired in 1986. Jack is survived by his son, John Gary Lester; son-in-law, Dan (Trula) Coe, Sr.; grandchildren, Janet Brown, Debbie Coe and Dan Coe, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Nick, Brook, and Calvin; sister, Beva Bingham; numerous nieces and nephews. We will miss you, but we know, you’ve GONE FISHIN’ – and the heavenly waters will never be the same!! Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division, Spokane, Wash. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012 at Riplinger’s followed by interment with military honors at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
