ATHEISTS: You're invited to dinner

Thank you for giving some background Tuesday about the area billboard campaign by the Freedom From Religion Foundation.

For any of those featured in the campaign, or who identify with it, may we invite you to join us for a free dinner discussion series hosted by our church as a community service, the Alpha Course?

The format of this course (which has been used in dozens of denominations and churches around the world) allows an opportunity to ask the tough questions.

We have a meal together, listen to a message by a funny British preacher on a basic question like “Who is Jesus?” or “Why did He die?” and then discuss it. There’s no pressure to come back if you don’t want to continue.

Our church, only one of the churches in this area offering this opportunity, will be starting our dinner series Monday, Sept. 17, 6 to 8 p.m.
