COEUR d'ALENE - The Idaho Panhandle Resource Advisory Committee is accepting proposals for possible funding for Fiscal Year 2013, which begins Oct. 1.
The funding is available through the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self Determination Act, which was reauthorized by Congress for one year.
The RAC will meet on Aug. 24 to begin reviewing proposals. RAC-funded projects must be located on National Forest System lands in Boundary, Bonner, Kootenai, Shoshone or Benewah counties, or on nearby lands if the project will benefit resources on the national forests.
