ATTORNEY: City should do better
The latest promise from Mr. Gridley has me puzzled as to why the city powers that be continue to employ this person. This is just another example of his poor judgment and advice that has cost the city taxpayers unnecessarily. His history of poor decisions continues to reflect his lack of understanding of Idaho Code or basic law for that matter. Now, he’s promising to appeal the Dixon case to the US Supreme Court if rejected by the 9th District!
How ‘bout he funds this personal interpretation/vendetta with his own funds? Twelve jurors and a judge twice tell me this guy is just a poor loser and is incapable of admitting when he’s wrong. Continuing to employ him without a thorough review of his past (numerous) losses and poor performance is another example of a dysfunctional management team. Open your eyes and get rid of this guy. Surely there are more knowledgeable attorneys with an ounce of common sense.
I believe he has been so successful in maintaining his employment because his spacing of his blunders has been impeccable. Just when you forget his last fiasco he manages to upchuck another one. Anyone have a count of the amount of his ill-advised lawsuits/recommendations to date and the amounts awarded? You’d think the city would or should; $3 million on this case alone is enough to replace, say, a ball field or a boat launch!
