Request for Proposals Financial Consulting Services-Impact Fees The City of Hayden is soliciting requests for proposals from qualified firms for an update to the City's existing Development Impact Fee Program and Capital Improvement Plan. This will be developed in conjunction with an update to the City's Transportation Strategic Plan, to be performed by an independent consultant firm. This joint project is anticipated to be completed within a six month period of time. The proposal shall be in letter form, not to exceed five (5) pages, and must be organized in sections containing the following information: 1. Description of Firm. Describe your firm's legal structure, areas of expertise, and other information that characterizes the firm. Provide the address of the main office and the address of the office that will manage the project. Provide the same detailed description of any and all firms your firm may partner with on this project. 2. Firm's Primary Clientele and Project Experience. Briefly describe other projects executed by your firm that demonstrate relevant experience. Also list all public sector clients for whom you have performed similar work in the past five years. For each project mentioned, include the name, address and phone number of a person who can be contacted regarding your performance on the project. Public Notice Transit Service Reductions Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that the Kootenai County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to seek comments from the public regarding the proposed transit service changes that will impact both the fixed and paratransit services. U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE PROPOSED DESIGNATION OF CRITICAL HABITAT FOR THE SOUTHERN SELKIRK MOUNTAINS POPULATION OF WOODLAND CARIBOU OPEN HOUSE INFORMATION MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING IN BONNERS FERRY, IDAHO On November 30 2011, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) published in the Federal Register (FR 76.230, 74018-74037) a proposed rule designating critical habitat for the southern Selkirk Mountains population of woodland caribou (Rangifer tarandus caribou) under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). The Service is proposing to designate 375,565 acres of critical habitat in Idaho and Washington for the caribou. These lands are all currently considered to be occupied by the species and no exclusions or exemptions are proposed. The proposed critical habitat is located in Boundary and Bonner counties in Idaho, and Pend Oreille County in Washington. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Informed and active public participation in this process is encouraged through information-sharing, public comment and public hearing opportunities, and is vital to the final decision to be made by the Service. The Service recognizes the public's interest in this issue and will work together to help citizens fully understand our proposal to designate critical habitat for caribou.
