COUNCIL: See attitude on TV

Although I am not a politician or a “wannabe,” I do have some reservations about the council I would like to comment on.

First off you can tune into the meetings via cable channel 19 on most nights to see what I mean and be your own judge. Most of the members including the mayor do not care what the public wants. It’s what they want and if you don’t like it, that’s too bad. Whatever the mayor wants you can bet that Kennedy, Goodlander and McEvers will vote her way and if it’s a tie the mayor breaks the tie in her favor.

Thank goodness we have three members who try to be constructive and listen to the public on topics that come before the council. Regardless of their ego they should not think they stand above the public. The public did err in electing them to their offices but guess what? We can also vote them out. Tune in to channel 19. What a joke.
