REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS CITY OF COEUR D' ALENE 2012 WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM MASTER PLAN UPDATE The City of Coeur d'Alene Wastewater Department is seeking proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms for providing professional services in order to update the City's existing comprehensive sanitary sewer collection system master plan. Proposals will be accepted at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Coeur d'Alene, 710 E. Mullan Ave., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814 until 4:00 p.m., November 10, 2011. This request for proposals seeks responses from consulting firms that have demonstrated expertise and experience in sanitary wastewater system planning and design. The City of Coeur D'Alene Wastewater Department operates and maintains a wastewater collection system of consisting of approximately 210 miles of gravity sewer mains and 10 sewage lift stations that serve 15,500 customers. A comprehensive sewer plan was completed in 2003 that consisted of sewer system mapping, flow monitoring, and the development of an existing system hydraulic model. The plan also included future sewer system planning, development of a future system hydraulic model, and a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). The intent of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified consulting firms to review the 2003 Comprehensive Sewer Plan and update it for 2012 conditions.
