'Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2012'

COEUR d'ALENE - The Urban Land Institute of Idaho is hosting its annual real estate trends and forecast seminar next month.

The presentation will focus on the "Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2012" report published by PwC and ULI that dissects the outlook on U.S. investments, development trends, real estate finances, capital markets and other issues related to the field.

The seminar includes a continental breakfast, and runs from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11, at the Parkside Center, 601 E. Front Ave. Suite 304.

The guest speaker will be Charles DiRocco, director of real estate development for PwC, an audit and assurance, tax and advisory service company.

Local experts will dive into the regional outlook for the North Idaho and Eastern Washington area in real estate to determine how the national scene will affect local markets.

Local panelists are Jeff Johnson, of SIOR, CCIM NAI Bank, who will discuss office real estate; Carl Guenzel, of Kiemle and Hagood, will tackle the retail sector; Greenstone Corporation will field residential topics and Jay Lewis, Washington Trust Bank vice president, will discuss finances.

The moderator will be Brian Ballard, of Hawley Troxell, Ennis and Hawley, LLP.

A copy of "Emerging Trends in Real Estate" will be handed out to registered guests.

Ticket prices range from $20 for students to $55 for private sector non ULI members. It's free for elected officials.
