BLAME: Congress isn't facing issues
I am sick of reading about who is to blame for the fiscal nightmare this country is facing. If you take time to quit being a party hack and follow the congressional record, or documentation on the Internet, you find some interesting information.
Democrats have controlled Congress since January 2007 - the budget for fiscal years 2008 through 2011. When Bush left office it was with the smallest deficit spending budget passed in his two administrations. Most of the deficits had been forced upon him due to the war conflicts.
In 2009 the Democratic budget deficit was suddenly $1.85 trillion. In 2010 it was some $1.2 trillion and totally the country has gone from some $4 trillion in debt to $16 trillion in debt.
The U.S. is now the closest in its history to becoming a third world debtor nation. We can't keep having more and more people on the "dole," trying to be the entire world's savior, allowing 20 million illegal aliens to have a free ride with us paying the bill, and our own Congress having a blind eye on the massive problems we face.
