Cd'A Charter Academy to host Writing Rally Jan. 28

Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy staff will host a Writing Rally Jan. 28 from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration is now open for the rally which is designed to inspire and encourage writers of all ages. Students, parents and community members are invited to attend.

Hands-on workshops will cover various writing topics including poetry, memoir and play writing. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from published authors Michael Marsden and Nikki Arana.

The registration fee includes lunch and a personal journal.

Registration by Dec. 13 is $20. After that date, cost to register is $25.
