LETTER: Selective memory displayed
I find the reasoning in Mr. Kelly's letter (Nov. 16) to be strange at best, as he would condemn a person for unproven allegations, while boasting about yet another adulterous encounter. He previously complained about his treatment in the Navy after having an affair with an officer's wife.
Somehow, he equates his actions to the moral authority to condemn conservatives in a very select manner.
Surely his voice hasn't been heard in the past, when the Groper in Chief went about lecturing the public about "Family Values" while he dallied with Monica in OUR White House. Or his friend and spiritual adviser with a child out of wedlock. He was also a presidential candidate.
I also failed to hear your voice about a candidate who had a child out of wedlock while his wife was dying of cancer, or even a peep about the massage gal in Al's room.
If criticism requires a short memory span, and selective outrage at conservatives only, then I would question the honesty and integrity of those who cast that first stone.
