Ballot cramming, city slamming; take 2

With one week before the city election, activist Mary Souza and others will give a second presentation tonight, titled ‘What You Need to Know Before You Vote.'

The forum will focus on city issues heading into the election on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Urban renewal and comparing city employee salaries to those of other Idaho municipalities will be chief topics.

It's the second presentation for Souza, who presented with Rep. Kathy Sims and Sharon Culbreth, in October.

"People were stunned," Souza wrote in an email to The Press about the first presentation. "Now more surprising information has surfaced and will be included in our free presentation."

The presentation will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 754 N. 4th St., across from Capone's pub.

Admission is free.
