Wolfinger running for sheriff

This morning, Ben Wolfinger, a major at the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and veteran of the Department for nearly 28 years filed paperwork at the Kootenai County Elections Office designating a political treasurer in preparation of running for the office of Sheriff in 2012.

Major Wolfinger stated that he is looking forward to the challenge of becoming the next Sheriff in Kootenai County and continuing to improve upon the level of law enforcement services provided by the Sheriff’s Office to the residents and visitors of Kootenai County.
