Pedestrian on I-90 struck and killed

A female pedestrian died Saturday night on Interstate 90 when she was struck by a vehicle near the Washington state line, according to Washington State Patrol.
At 10:05 p.m. a 2008 Toyota vehicle struck and killed a female pedestrian standing in the right lane at eastbound milepost 299, five miles east of Liberty Lake, Wash., troopers said. The pedestrian's name has not been released.
Nancy Webster, 54, of Post Falls, the driver of the Toyota, was not injured, troopers said.
The incident is under investigation.
