Hower hired at Trindera
Trindera Engineering, a Coeur d'Alene-based electrical and control systems engineering and consulting firm, announced it has hired Joe Hower as an electrical project engineer.
Hower has more than 22 years of experience in the design of commercial projects for higher education, courthouses, elementary and high schools, hospitals, medical facilities, office buildings, and other projects.
Hower has experience in the design of power, lighting and specialty systems.
Hower will join Trindera's Commercial Group, bringing a focus of LEED AP certification and building information modeling. He was previously with other firms in Indianapolis and Grand Rapids, Mich.
Trindera Engineering specializes in electrical systems, control systems, lighting systems and specialty systems.
Guiseppes
changes ownership
Lance and Laura Burquist are the new owners of Guiseppes Little Bit of Chicago, 5831 N. Government Way.
They offer Chicago-style hot dogs, sandwiches, Italian beef, Philly cheesesteaks, sausage and more.
The couple operate their business out of a trailer in the Cenex parking lot. Current hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Spring and summer hours will be 10 to 5.

Panhandle Photography opens in Post Falls
Panhandle Photography is a new business in Post Falls, started last month by Tim Smith.
Smith, who is operating from home, said he specializes in fun, candid-style photography.
"I prefer to shoot outdoors, and capture real life," he said.
His business will serve Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Post Falls and surrounding areas.
He has just started as a professional, but has been doing photography as a hobby for 15 to 20 years, he said.
He plans to take real estate photographs, along with children, families, engagements, senior portraits. All photo sessions start at $50, he said.
