William 'Bill' Moore, 57
William "Bill" Moore, owner of Commercial Linen in Seaside, Ore., for more than 30 years died at Seaside Hospital on Feb. 20, 2011, with family at his side. He was 57.
Bill was born Nov. 28, 1954, in New Richmond, Wis., to Ray, a school teacher, and Lillian Moore (Lind). In his growing up years in Coeur d'Alene, he attended Immaculate Heart Academy then Coeur d'Alene High School. He was active in sports especially baseball and was on the All-Star Team as shortstop. He then owned a lawn mowing business.
Bill attended North Idaho College and was employed at Pappy's Pizza and then managed Kentucky Fried Chicken in Kellogg.
He married his high school sweetheart, Debra Bristol in 1977, and the couple moved to Seaside where he opened "Bill Moore Commercial Linen" and serviced restaurants and motels with supplies.
His special interests included golf and investing in the stock market and enjoyed karaoke.
Bill was known for his great generosity, his caring and understanding of the persons in his surroundings.
His friend and brother, Dave Moore, died in 2010.
Survivors include a daughter, Marbry (Rich) and granddaughter Molly Jane; his son, Sean (Darc) of Spokane; his mother, Lillian Moore Lind; a sister, Lynette (Bob); brothers, Eric and Jack (Sherri); nieces and nephews, John (Anna), Erica, Anna, Amy, Savannah, Sarah, also a very special Katie and Heidi.
Bill donated his eyes to the Eye Bank and the family would like others to do so in his honor.
