JUDGES: Conflict built into system
Are judges profiting off their own cases? Yes, sad to say but true. Idaho Code §1-2002 - JUDGES' RETIREMENT FUND, states: "The Judges' Retirement Fund, which shall consist of all moneys appropriated from the general fund, and all moneys received from special fees to be paid by parties to civil actions and proceedings, other than criminal, commenced in or appealed to the several courts of the state."
This means each judge has a personal conflict of interest in each and every civil case! They are not independent in any civil case before them. They receive money directly to their retirement fund from every civil case they determine! They increase their "profit" of each case by making their "judicial determinations" regarding each case to force additional fees to be paid! Without accountability to ANYONE! Additionally, if they just happen to make rulings that would force one party to create a new case to "determine" that matter, well, those new cases would also have to pay fees into - you guessed it, the Judges' Retirement Fund!
So who is supposed to be watching over this defect in the law? We are, and according to the Idaho Constitution so are the Judges! Yes, the Judges. The Idaho Constitution which all Judges took oaths to support, at Art. V, Sect. 25 - DEFECTS IN LAW TO BE REPORTED BY JUDGES.
Can true Justice ever exist in Idaho? Not as long as judges are profiting off their cases, because judges show no integrity.
