TAXES: Hold officials accountable

Take off Your Rose Colored Glasses! OK everyone, I'm tired of seeing and reading in the news the crises that the state, country governments are in where it comes to budgets. Let's look at and understand and start asking our elected officials where the money is.

Take for example the sales tax just in the state of Idaho. If there are 1 million people in the state and everyone spends just $1, that is $60,000 a day just in sales taxes collected off of $1.

Multiply that by 365 days and what is the number? It's $21.9 million. Where the heck is the money going?

It is time for the people of this wonderful country to DEMAND that all the tax that is collected - mortgage, insurance, gas, death, income, sales, etc. - that we are paying needs to be accounted for. We have the absolute right to know the detail.

It is not just one individual (Obama, etc.), it is the collective stingy and fraudulent gains that your elected officials do with our money to support our country. Is it time to stand up and demand a complete accounting or are you going to just sit back and complain?
