REFORM: Laptops have their place
A few weeks ago our legislative group in Boise announced plans to curtail the power of the unions as if the unions in this right to work state had any power to start with. The equivalent of saying Tom Thumb was too tall to duel with Goliath.
Today The Press reports how the teachers unions have been shafted, and more reform on the way. I believe that means the proposed replacement of teachers with computers. So teachers bow to the desires of Boise. Computers have a place but not in replacing humans. Computers have no sense of a student requiring help in certain areas of education or maybe personal problems/desires to speak to someone for guidance or just conversation. Whomever came up with the computers replacing human interaction requires a big CY at the end of their name.
