Mildred Leimomi Davis, 78

Mildred Leimomi Davis, 78, passed away peacefully March 2, 2011, in Coeur d'Alene, from conditions related to Alzheimer's. Millie was born on May 13, 1932, in Kona, Hawaii.

In 1952, she married Charles (Dave) Davis, a career Navy man, in Santa Monica, Calif., and they had three daughters. The family lived in various places, both in and outside the U.S., and retired in Idaho in 1976.

Millie was an exceptional wife and mother, who put her family before anything else. She was an excellent cook and loved dancing, sports and the outdoors.

She is survived by her husband, Dave, and daughters Audrey Carapella of Evergreen, Colo., Yvonne Hanneman of Hayden and Gina Schneider of Harrison.

Millie is very much loved by her family and friends and will remain forever in their hearts.
