KROC: Now, who was rude?
I have been a member of the Kroc Center since it opened and I feel a few people, whatever their motive, have unfairly slandered the center.
The rules and regulations are there for good reason and allow all members and guests to enjoy a wholesome recreational environment. The complainers need to grow up and set a better example for their children to follow.
Imagine, if you will, everyone bringing food and drink to the Kroc. Who wants sticky Coke on the floor, or gum drops sticking to one's feet, or chewing gum on the pool walls or on the locker floors or shower rooms. Talk on your cell before or after your activity; others don't really care to share your idle chit chat while enjoying the center. It's also extremely rude behavior.
A few years ago I had to check out of the Fairfield Inn in Coeur d'Alene because swim teams were in town and the children were allowed to run the halls at all hours screaming and disturbing other guests, so I can just imagine the scene at the Kroc with 350 or so in attendance. The Kroc staff have always been top notch, friendly and reasonable.
We are proud of our world class center and wish to keep it first class, so either obey the rules here, or go home and break the rules where you live.
