COEUR d'ALENE - The Kootenai County Reagan Republicans funded thousands of calls to voters in the Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene School Districts on the eve of Tuesday's levy elections.
The organization, which actively supported "Get Out The Vote" programs during the 2009 Coeur d'Alene city election and the 2010 general election, hopes to increase voter participation in this year's levy elections.
"We thought this election was so important that the Reagan Republican Victory Fund made thousands of calls reminding voters about today's election," said KCRR President Jeff Ward in the organization's March 8 newsletter.
The pre-recorded calls were made to registered voters in the Post Falls and Cd'A School Districts.
