Montana's Baker earns All-Big Sky honors
Montana forward Katie Baker and Montana State forward Rachel Semansky earned first team all-Big Sky honors, while Montana State's Sarah Balian and teammate Katie Bussey earned second team honors.
Baker, a sophomore from Coeur d'Alene and former Lake City High standout, led Montana with 12.1 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.
Semansky, a sophomore from Highwood, averaged 12.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game while Balian averaged 13 points per game. Bussey averaged 14.3 points per game and led MSU with 89 assists.
Portland State guard Eryn Jones was named the league's MVP.

Olorunnife named to WAC second team
MOSCOW - Idaho senior Yinka Olorunnife was named to the Western Athletic Conference second team and also the All-Defense team on Monday.
The forward from Windsor, Ontario, Canada was a All-WAC preseason selection, and WAC player of the week for Nov. 15-21.
Player of the Year: Adrienne Johnson of Louisiana Tech was named Player of the Year, Shavon Moore of Nevada received Defensive Player of the Year, Ashlee Brown of Utah State is the Newcomer of the Year and Raegan Pebley of Utah State was awarded Coach of the Year honors.
Chiefs' Johnson signs with Tampa Bay
TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed center Tyler Johnson of the Western Hockey League's Spokane Chiefs to a standard three-year entry-level contract, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced.
Johnson, a former Coeur d'Alene Laker and Spokane native, has appeared in 259 career games with the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League during the previous four seasons, amassing 123 goals and 273 points. This season he has established career highs in goals with 48, assists with 58 and points 106 in 64 games.
Johnson currently leads the Chiefs in goals, assists, power play goals (15) and shorthanded goals (6) while also ranking third on the squad with a plus-27 ranking. He has also skated in 40 career postseason games, all with Spokane, registering 13 goals and 24 points.
