Theater holds auditions

The Coeur d'Alene Summer Theater is planning auditions for children and adults.

Children's Auditions

Munchkins under the height of 4 feet, 10 inches, and VonTrapp kids 8 years and older are wanted.

Coeur d'Alene auditions: March 11 from 3:30-8 p.m. Children do not need to send a headshot and resume in advance. Headshot and audition application required at auditions, if you have a resume, please bring that as well. Auditions held in Boswell Hall on the campus of North Idaho College, Room 102.

Children do not need to set up an appointment for auditions. Just come any time between 3:30-8 p.m. Auditions are closed, meaning only those auditioning and artistic team will be in audition room.

Prepare 1 minute or 16 bars of a song. A song from the show is OK.

Everyone will have a movement audition; no advance preparation is needed.

Music: Please bring sheet music. We will provide an accompanist or you may bring your own accompanist. CD backtracks allowed for children's auditions only. Backtrack cannot have lyrics on it.

Adult Auditions

Coeur d'Alene: March 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Boswell Hall at North Idaho College, Room 102

Prepare 2 contrasting songs, 16 bars each or about 1 minute each. A song from the show is OK.

Be prepared to dance.
