Panhandle Bass Club to host seminar at Spring Great Outdoor Days event

Fishermen from the Panhandle Bass Club will host a seminar on Saturday and Sunday, March 5-6, at Cabela's in Post Falls during the Spring Great Outdoor Days event.

At 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on both days, Tony McCalmant and Jeremy Kimberling will discuss bass fishing tactics, techniques and equipment in the fishing department at Cabela's.

The Panhandle and Inland Empire bass clubs will be having a membership drive and raffle. Prizes include outings with tournament bass anglers on local waters.

Great Outdoor Days will run from 9 a.m. until late afternoon. Other seminars will focus on fly-fishing, salmon fishing, white water rafting, fly tying, Dutch oven cooking, fishing for crappies and fishing knots. The U.S. Coast Guard, Idaho Fish and Game and the Kootenai County Marine Division will attend the event.
