Burger King planned for Post Falls

The Burger King chain is planning a return to Post Falls.

The fast-food restaurant is proposed for 2956 E. Mullan Ave. next to Walmart in the site formerly occupied by a gas station.

CLC Associates, which will operate the business, is having a site plan review meeting at City Hall on Tuesday.

Burger King formerly had a Post Falls location off Pleasant View Road and Interstate 90 before it closed several years ago.

Mark Johnson of CLC Associates could not be reached for comment.

"The size and the timing of construction is still yet to be determined," said Kelley Setters, who works in the city's planning department.

No building permits have been issued.
