Travolta brings 'Grease' to Cd'A
COEUR d'ALENE - Thanks to the generosity of John Travolta and Paramount Pictures, Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre will present the sing-a-long movie version of "Grease" for the first time to the Inland Northwest.
There will be two shows at 2 and 7 p.m. March 12 at Schuler Performing Arts Center, Boswell Hall, North Idaho College.
Come dressed as your favorite character or in your old '50s attire, and be ready to sing your hearts out to Grease favorite songs such as "Greased Lightning," "We Go Together" and "You're the One That I Want."
The songs in the movie are complete with subtitles and we'll teach you how to do the Hand Jive.
The show is considered great for the family and groups of friends.
General seating: $20. For tickets contact 769-7780 or www.cdasummertheatre.com
All proceeds will go to support the theater arts.
Travolta helped secure the rights to "Grease" from Paramount and officials there waived all fees.
