Rita Fay Rudd, 77
Rita Fay Rudd passed away Feb. 25, 2011, in Coeur d'Alene surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born May 16, 1933, in Enterprise, Ore., to Olie and Fay Crader.
She married Raymond Rudd in 1950 in La Grande, Ore. They moved to Kellogg in 1951. Rita worked as an Avon Representative and then at Dan's Rexall Drug for many years. Rita and Raymond retired and moved to Beyond Hope in 1986. Rita worked part time as a bartender at the Beyond Hope Resort until 2000 when they moved to Coeur d'Alene.
She truly had a heart of gold. Everyone she met became her friend and she will be missed by all that knew her. She loved bowling, going to the beach at Beyond Hope, cooking and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; children, Cheryl Brown of Osburn, Rhonda (Robin) Aga of Osburn and Scott Rudd of Spokane; five grandchildren, Jamie Waldvogel, Ryan Waldvogel of Coeur d'Alene, Dustin (Rae'Lynn) Howell of Osburn, Eric Howell of Osburn and Stacy (Brett) Easley of Spokane; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Bob and Bud Crader of Imbler, Ore., and her sister, Karen (Dick) ODonald of Prumph, Nev.
She was preceded by son Larry Rudd in 1962.
At her request memorial services will be held at a later date. Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene, is entrusted with care of final arrangements.
