William Steven 'Bill' Tull, 81

William Steven "Bill" Tull, 81, of Coeur d'Alene, died at home on Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Bill was born Dec. 20, 1929, to Martin and Abby (Ball) Tull in Keo, Ark.

Bill grew up in Arkansas working in the cotton fields. Bill was the last survivor of his five sisters, Eura, Ada, Eva, Gala and Enid; and four brothers, Lilburn, Ben, Jewell and James. He had three children, Twilla, Shirley and Mike, all living. Bill leaves eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In 1974, Bill married Marguerite Foulk in Sacramento, Calif. Marguerite has three children, Charlie, Linda Oaks (deceased) and Gus; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Bill did a little bit of everything in Arkansas including buying and selling produce. He moved to Modesto, Calif., in 1949 where he continued to buy and sell produce. Marguerite and Bill moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1976. Bill went to work at North Idaho College as Custodian and retired from there in 1990.

Bill loved people, loved to fish, loved his family and life. He had a great love for Marguerite's cooking, yard work and the outdoors.

A memorial service will be held in August with the extended family.
