Trustees to hold budget hearing June 27

The Coeur d’Alene School District’s proposed budget for the next fiscal year is online and available for public review. The 174-page document can be viewed on the district’s website.

School district trustees will review the proposed budget and hold a public hearing on it June 27 at 5 p.m. at the Midtown Center, 1505 N. Fifth Street.

Members of the public will be able to comment on the proposed budget during the June 27 hearing.

The trustees are expected to take action on the budget at their July 11 meeting. Citizens will have another opportunity to address the board at that time.

Hard copies of the proposed budget are available to the public during summer business hours of the District Administration Office, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday at 311 N. 10th Street.

If the members of the public are unable to attend the Board of Trustee meetings but would like to provide comment on the proposed budget, they may submit comments in writing by mail to the Clerk of the Board, Lynn Towne, 311 N. 10th Street, or by email to info@cdaschools.org.
