HELP: Heisey there for vets

| June 1, 2011 10:00 PM

I graduated from high school and the Korean War had started. I signed up to defend my country the same as my father did in World War II. Due to the war I came out with loud ringing in my ears and the embarrassment of having to ask people to please repeat themselves when they spoke to me. However I felt that was a small price to pay when so many men had given their all and not made it back or came back badly damaged.

Now here I sit, 80 years old, and the Service Officer of our American Legion Post told me to go over to see Darryl Heisey the Veterans Service Officer in Post Falls. He said that Darryl could really help me. I went over to see Darryl and met a man who has dedicated himself to helping every veteran the very best way he can. He knows all the ins and outs as the saying goes. He also has a wonderful assistant that does the same. They really helped me.

If you have any questions don't wait all the years I did. Call for an appointment and go over to their office.
