LIBERALS: Elected by numb voters

| July 29, 2011 10:00 PM

I read an Internet news article that is typical and always amazes me. Every time a liberal opens their mouth and casts dispersions against a Republican the Republican Party, Tea Party, etc., they are really talking about themselves. Here is the latest example that I came across that makes my point:

"Tuesday, in a speech to union workers, Nancy Pelosi unleashed a series of charges claiming that Republicans want to ‘destroy' everything from clean air to personal rights."

Her comments were so silly I didn't want to quote anymore, but I hope you get the point. I've got a few questions for Ms. Pelosi... who's at the helm a Democrat or a Republican? Who wants to increase the debt limit and then make the working class man and woman pay the price through higher taxes? Who is driving businesses out of the country? Who has no tact when it comes to international affairs (e.g. England)?

Although I didn't vote for him, I was glad to see that a black person could be voted into the highest office in the United States - unfortunately it was (as we've come to find out) the wrong person. It's no wonder his base is leaving him and his poll numbers are very low.

The typical vitriol from the left is printed by the news media, TV and radio and is so skewed to the left that to the everyday American who is just trying to get by, find a job, figure how to pay their rent, etc., and many of them don't go beyond the alphabet (TV) stations to get their news.

It's easy to see from these facts how elected officials like Ms. Pelosi, and her cohorts get elected and reelected. What a sad day when many voters can't name their state's senators but they can tell you the top 10 songs on the market; they can't tell you where Washington, D.C., is on the map but they know where their favorite movie stars live; they can't recall the name of the vice president. It seems like many voters have their priorities crisscrossed.

It's too bad that the name calling, finger pointing and scare tactics used by the left are to the informed, ridiculous, but to the large group that believes the country owes them something, and those hard working honest Democrats that are just too busy to find out the truth, buy into these machinations.
