STATUE: Lacks vital perspective

Enough about that statue! We have more important things to spend our energy on.

We have the worst budget crisis that we as a country have ever faced. We are fighting a war in two theaters that have dragged on for years, sapping our military strength. We are facing the disintegration of our educational system which will send even more jobs overseas... the list goes on and on. We need our energy, creativity and resourcefulness focused on the opportunities to find the solutions and follow them through that will define this country's short and long term future.
