FUTURE: Hoping good still possible

Which is it?

1. The Government is out of control.

2. The Politicians are out of control.

3. Our Society is our of control.

4. I'm out of my mind (maybe just too old-fashioned).

Point me to the correct one.

I'm 75 years old and want to go forward by going backward to a time when a person's word was a contract that could be counted on.

I want to go forward to a time when each person believes the best way to live is to help each other be educated, responsible, healthy and good. (Be good means not doing anything that harms another person.) HELP!
