Porky G's Southern Style BBQ to open in new location

Porky G's Southern Style BBQ and Catering, which had been operating as a drive-up eatery, will be opening a sit-down restaurant next week.

Owners Gary Stinnett and Mary Warwick, of Spokane Valley, are leasing about 2,000 square feet of space at 1527 Northwest Blvd. It will employ four people, Stinnett said. It is located about a mile from The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

The drive-up location, at 233 W. Dalton Ave., closed in November. The owners have been preparing the new location to open since that time.

N.I. Physical Therapy adds to Cd'A clinic staff

North Idaho Physical Therapy has announced the addition of Jessica Taranto to its Coeur d'Alene clinic.

She is a 2010 graduate of Eastern Washington University, with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. She attended NW Noetic School of Massage and graduated in 2006.

Jessica became a massage therapist because she knew she had a gift to help people with their pain, but she found that massage cannot be the only solution to decreasing pain in the body.

As a result, she went back to school for exercise science to teach people how to strengthen their body in a way that is most beneficial. Jessica can be reached at (208) 664-8194, 1917 N. Lakewood Drive, Coeur d'Alene.
