JESUS: Keep his story alive

| January 12, 2011 9:00 PM

His name is Jesus Christ, born of Mary a teenage girl who is engaged to Joseph a carpenter. Their life is about to change for all eternity. Mary accepted her responsibility to have this most Holy Child conceived by the power of the holy Spirit, sent by God. Mary and Joseph were told by the angel, His name is to be Jesus.

What would you or I do if we were given such responsibility? Who is Jesus Christ in your life? A question we will all have to answer someday.

Is He just an infant born in Bethlehem, Savior of the world, to some a prophet, to others a long-awaited Messiah, to many others He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and His Kingdom will never end, what will be your choice?

John 14:6: "Jesus says I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but through Me." Mary brought forth her first born son, the Light of the World. As Jesus grew, He faced the challenges as many young people do, dealing with brothers and sisters and normal family situations.

Isaiah 9:6: "For to us a Savior is born, to us a child is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Oh little town of Bethlehem!
