MICA'S LEGACY: Known for his outstretched hand

| January 7, 2011 4:47 AM

I am one of the many people in our community who has been fortunate enough to be touched by the words of kindness, words of hope and the generosity of Milic' Milojevic's outstretched hand (known by many as Mica').

Our beloved friend passed into eternity on New Year's Day, leaving behind many people whom loved him dearly.

His body will be interred in California, beside his parents and brother. Therefore, the community of Coeur d'Alene will probably not have an opportunity to say farewell to this beloved man.

Mica' was a man of his word and integrity. He would help anyone in need, or just drop by to lend a helping hand. If you are reading this and knew and loved Mica', I am sure you have your own story to tell.

I have known and loved Mica' for more than 10 years and everyday was a blessing to me having him as my friend. My life would have had a void in it if God had never allowed us to meet. I will love him always and eagerly await that marvelous reunion we will share in heaven.

For those of us left behind, let us all remember him with laughter in our voices, laughter in our eyes and let us all follow his example and stretch out our hands to all those we come in contact with whether in need or simple friendship.

Farewell our dear friend! May your memory be eternal!

All my love,

BETH BARKLEY-PIETLICKI
