Numerica transfers Wilkinson to Cd'A

Numerica Credit Union announced Wednesday that Petra Wilkinson has transferred to the Coeur d'Alene branch as branch manager.

Wilkinson has worked in the banking industry since 1986. She started at Wells Fargo. She was branch manager for Patelco Credit Union in the San Francisco Bay area.

Wilkinson was hired in August 2001 as a member service officer for the Coeur d'Alene branch of Numerica.

Studio E'lan gets new owner

Newman Lake resident Terrie Peres, who has been in the salon business for more than 20 years, is the new owner of Studio E'lan in downtown Coeur d'Alene.

The business, located at 206 E. Indiana, offers hair-care services, massage, and nail care.

The previous owner was Laura Hammond, who moved to California.

Peres has three hair stylists, a massage therapist and nail tech.

Maasch joins Avista Corp.

Avista Corp. announced Wednesday that Steve Maasch has joined the company as senior director of human resources.

Maasch will take over the position currently held by Dan Suttner, who retires March 1.

In his new role, Maasch will lead human resources management in the development and implementation of human resource programs, and oversight of other human resource areas.

Prior to coming to Avista, Maasch was vice president of human resources at InfrastruX Group/UtilX Corporation, a multi-industry infrastructure energy solutions organization with more than 5,800 employees and operations in the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, India, Japan and Mexico. In his previous role, Maasch oversaw all human resources, training, safety and legal operations. He has 17 years of experience in human resources.

Retiring senior director of human resources Dan Suttner has been with Avista more than 28 years. Suttner has served in various management and director positions throughout Avista Corp. in areas of company safety, human resources and labor relations, and he served as chairman of Avista's labor management committee.
