Crime Stoppers seeks help with pharmacy robbery cold cases

COEUR d'ALENE - Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects involved in two pharmacy robberies that occurred in 2009.

Crime Stoppers is asking the public's assistance in solving these cold cases.

About 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2009, a suspect entered Walgreens pharmacy, 706 E. Seltice Way, Post Falls, and demanded oxycontin.

The suspect is described as being in his early 20s, with dark hair, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with a thin build, and wearing an orange/tan beanie on his head with a short visor and a tan and white sweatshirt, and a fleece jacket.

Then, about 6 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2009, a male suspect entered the Walgreen's pharmacy at 260 W. Honeysuckle Ave. in Hayden and demanded oxycontin.

That suspect is described as being a white male, having a slim build, with dark, collar length hair, wearing a blue and black North Face parka with a hood and a tan beanie with a short visor.

He had on black Van-type shoes, with brown or light colored soles. He displayed a silver handgun during the robbery.
