After reviewing the Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA), resource reports, the Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), comments from the public and the project file, Forest Supervisor Mary Farnsworth decided to implement Alternative 2 as described in the Supplemental EA. Alternative 2 is composed of vegetation restoration, road and trail work in the East Fork of Meadow Creek project area, located in sections (or portions of) T64N, R1E; Sections 24, 25 and 36; T64N, R2E; Sections 19, 20, 29, 30-32; T63N, R2E; Sections 5-8 from the Boise Meridian. Maps and other details can be found in the Decision Notice for this project. The Decision Notice, as well as supporting documents, can be found on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests (IPNF) public website at: http://www.fs.usda.gov/goto/ipnf/projects. Approximately 1,297 acres of vegetation will be treated within the project area.
