SHOPPING: A million-dollar question

| December 2, 2011 8:00 PM

Here's a question maybe someone can answer. If so many people are having such a hard time paying bills, mortgages, providing food for their family etc., how are so many of them lining up to buy "stuff" they don't really need on Black Friday?

It's bad enough that they camp out in front of a store for days, but now they come armed with pepper spray. What's next? Guns, knives, clubs? The Occupy Wall Street protesters can be forcibly removed from a public park but not some welfare wacko who wants the big deal on an Xbox.
