NIC: Sad sign of the times

How many young people could go to North Idaho College for the $160,000 earmarked for a new sign to proclaim the achievements of the NIC Trustees? This piece of property that was purchased under some shadows, pays no city or county property taxes. Mark my words that a lot of this will end up leased to private business down the road and still will pay no property taxes. The Trustees will get rent and still want to up tuition.

This JC is a great asset to this community and should try to remain accessible to the people who really need it, those who cannot afford it. They should think twice before spending a dime on a MONUMENT.
